Forth Celtic began in 1972 and held early matches at Johnstown Castle. It later developed its home at Bargycommons, near Murrintown in County Wexford.
The club’s history describes two grass pitches, an artificial pitch for nine a side football and a clubhouse. Youth football for boys and girls forms a large part of the club alongside adult teams.
