Tulla United began in 1970. Its first competitive match, against Lifford B in Ennis on 13 December that year, ended in a 3–2 win. The club won its first title in 1986 and entered the Premier Division in 1987.
After using several grounds around Tulla, the club opened its permanent home at The Cragg in May 2008. The facilities page lists two grass pitches, a floodlit synthetic pitch, four changing rooms, a clubhouse, parking and a gym.
The Cragg is reached from the Gort Road outside Tulla. The club supplies Eircode V95 A061 for visitors. Check the relevant fixture before travelling because a team may be assigned to another venue.
Tulla developed its youth programme further from 2000 and won its first schoolboy trophy in 2003. Its website covers youth and adult football, membership and club contacts.
