The anniversary programme brings present and former players back to the club grounds. A senior home match against St John’s Athletic is planned for 25 September, followed the next day by youth games, a formal celebration and a match for former players.
The gathering continues at The Tavern, with supporters invited to share memories. These dates are the published September 2026 programme; confirm arrangements with the club before attending. A full account of the founding members remains unconfirmed.
The first Premier Division title
Ballymoe entered their last game needing to beat Moore United and hoping Castlerea Celtic would drop points. In the club’s title report, Maurice Connaughton’s first half goal proved enough for a 1–0 win. Ballinasloe’s two late goals against Castlerea opened the door, and Ballymoe held on to claim their first title.
The report thanked managers Kevin Earley and Sean Collins, assisted by Kevin Morgan. A complete honours list has not been verified.
Youth football and the senior game
The 2026 anniversary announcement confirms both youth activity and senior football. The senior competition record includes the Roscommon and District league and cup competitions.

The crest displayed with Ballymoe’s match record is a shield edged in gold, with blue detail, a harp, a tower and a football among its symbols. Their individual meanings have not been confirmed.
