A West Limerick club with a cup-winning tradition
Established in 1970, Broadford United has a football history stretching over half a century. The club’s own profile places its home at Cove Park and describes a membership spanning young children and adults. The same ground name appears in the regional league directory.
The club’s 2024 cup report records a 2–0 victory over Rathkeale, with goals from Michaél Brosnan and Bryan Hannigan. Two years later, the May 2026 final report describes Broadford completing three consecutive Desmond Cup wins against Newcastle West Town. These dated achievements are part of the club’s senior football story.
