Shountrade identity

Shountrade AFC is based at Kiltannon, Croagh, in County Limerick. The club serves a rural football community between Croagh and Adare, close to the N21, and has grown around a strong volunteer culture.

The crest carries purple, yellow and white colours, the split year 19 and 87, and the motto Decore Et Corde on the lower ribbon.

Founded in 1987

Shountrade’s underage academy includes boys and girls teams from U5 to U18. The club describes the academy as continuing to grow and as the lifeblood of Shountrade AFC.

Players of all ages

In July 2023, Shountrade U10 and U12 players took part in the Treaty United half time scramble during the FAI Cup game between Treaty United and Cork City.
