West United FC home ground
South Park
The Claddagh, Galway City
South Park in the Claddagh is the regular home ground of West United FC. The club website gives South Park, Galway as its location, while live Galway Football Association fixtures list West United home matches at South Park.
Pitches
Galway City Council lists two soccer pitches, one Gaelic games pitch and one rugby pitch at South Park.
Changing facilities
The council’s playing pitch record says changing or shower facilities are available. Opening, access and match day arrangements should be confirmed with the club.
Ground use and identity
South Park is a public recreation space and a shared sports ground, not a private West United site. Saved home assignments on IYF show West United as the consistent football user. The club badge marks that sporting relationship and does not imply legal ownership.
Visitor information
The pitches sit beside the Claddagh waterfront within walking distance of Galway city centre. Public sources checked for this page do not confirm a dedicated match day car park, permanent spectator seating or refreshments. Follow the fixture message for the pitch, changing area and arrival time.
