Bunratty Cratloe grew from Bunratty FC, founded in 1990. Its first league entry was an under 14 team in 1990–1991. Without a home pitch that season, the team travelled for every match.
Bunratty developed youth and adult football during the 1990s. Its under 16 team won a league in 1995, and the youth side won a league and cup double the following season.
Cratloe Celtic formed in 2000. The neighbouring clubs joined together in 2010 to become Bunratty Cratloe FC. The club history identifies Woulfe Park as its home and records the subsequent rebuilding of boys and girls football.
