Carn FC: football for the whole community
Carndonagh FC was formed in 1976 when Carn Celtic and Carn United joined forces. Known locally as Carn FC, it provides men’s, women’s, boys’ and girls’ football in Inishowen, with St Patrick’s Park and Benduff listed as its home pitches. Club history · Home grounds

Honours
Senior and youth milestones
Carn won the Ulster Junior Cup in 2013 and Inishowen Premier Division in 2014. Its under-12 and under-13 teams became SFAI Ulster champions in 2018. In 2023, the reserves completed a Division 2 Shield, Fr O’Gara Cup and Division 2A treble. The club’s honours

Club story
A merger, a new ground and national cup football
St Patrick’s Park opened on 23 July 1989, with Jack Charlton performing the opening before a match against Derry City’s treble-winning team. Two years later, Carn faced Limerick City in the FAI Senior Cup, drawing the first match before losing the replay. Ground opening and cup history
Carn’s development record includes players who progressed into League of Ireland and Northern Ireland football, among them Sam Todd, Ronan Doherty and Niamh Callaghan.
