Youth football

Success through the age groups

Boys’ under-12 and under-13 sides appear in the 2024/25 local competition record. The under-18 girls clinched their league title with a 2–1 win against Mooncoin Celtic, reported on 1 June 2025. That girls’ achievement sits alongside the club’s adult honours. Mooncoin’s season reports document both pathways.

League history

Club story

A club built around Carrick football

Founded in 1968, Carrick United had already established itself in Waterford football before the 2008 national final. Tom Drohan Park provided the home base for the side and the volunteers behind it. The final report names John Nolan and PJ Torpy, who had served the club for many years, among those celebrating the breakthrough. Carrick’s cup story captures that connection between the team and its supporters.
