St Johns Athletic FC was founded in 1985 by local people in the Lecarrow area who wanted young players to have a football club of their own. The crest carries the St John’s Ath name, F.C. lettering and Est. 1985 date.
The club’s own history places St Johns Park at Killoy at the centre of the story, with five acres secured in 1986, dressing rooms opened in 1995 and an astro training area added in 2007.
