Club story
A young club growing with Tyrrelstown
Tyrrelstown United FC was established in 2021 for Tyrrelstown and the surrounding Dublin 15 communities. The club’s founding account gives that year and local purpose, while its current official website describes a youth club centred on football, fitness, friendship and character.
The current site presents a broad enrolment programme from U8 to U18 for boys and girls. It also reports more than 200 players, eleven age groups and three pitches. Those figures describe the club’s own programme; they do not mean that Irish Youth Football has a separate current relationship card for every advertised age and pathway.
Irish Youth Football links six 2026–27 team records to Tyrrelstown United. They are an U12 boys’ side, U14 and U16 girls’ sides, an U17 boys’ side, an U18 girls’ side and one record without an age or pathway label. That leaves only two linked boys’ records, three girls’ records and one unspecified card. The club advertises younger ages and other groups that are not represented in this relationship set.
The club’s team portal lists girls’ teams, U9 through U16 groups and an academy. Older club news also records a nursery, academy and several match teams. These sources show why the six IYF cards should be treated as partial coverage, not a complete club roll.
The live IYF fixtures view has no upcoming match at present. The results view contains two records: the U12 boys drew 4–4 at home to Trinity Donaghmede on 9 September 2026, and the U14 girls lost 3–0 away to Lucan United on 8 September. The DDSL results page is the source attached to both rows and can carry a wider set of club matches.
The club has already built a clear honours list. Its official trophy cabinet records eleven league titles and cup wins from 2022–23 through 2025–26. The first listed season brought the U11 Muscle & Mind Cup, U13 Clubforce Cup and U13 Sunday League D title. In 2023–24, its U11s won the Pembroke Insurance Cup, while the U13s took both the Clubforce Cup and Sunday League B and the U14s won Sunday League B.
The U13 2012 group won the Sunday Premier league in 2024–25. The 2025–26 cabinet adds the U11 Pembroke Insurance Cup, U12 Astropark Cup and U14 Officemate Cup. These are the exact age groups, competitions and seasons shown by the club; ordinary match wins are not added to that total.
Tyrrelstown United’s home strip is black and white, with green and black listed as its away colours. The DDSL club profile supplies those colour descriptions and the crest used by the linked records. The DDSL club map names Tyrellstown Park as the ground; the venue spelling has one “r” after the “Ty”, while the club and area use “Tyrrelstown”.
The club itself calls the venue Tyrrelstown Park and says its training runs on Tuesday and Friday evenings. Its published schedule uses pitches one and two in timed blocks, and the home page counts three pitches across the wider football setup. A club training report describes close to 100 children attending with teams and the academy and refers to the local all-weather facility.
DDSL competition pages repeatedly place Tyrrelstown United home games at Tyrellstown Park. A current girls’ competition record shows several home fixtures there, while another league page connects the club to the 2026–27 programme. The canonical venue record used below is the same match-linked park that appears in the results panel.
A full street address or Eircode for the football entrance was not found in the official club and DDSL pages checked. Public information also does not clearly confirm parking, spectator toilets, changing access, refreshments or a step-free route for every youth match. Visitors should open the map for Tyrrelstown Park, then use the team message for the precise entrance, pitch and facilities available that day.
The official website advertised a July 2026 FAI summer camp at Tyrrelstown All Weather. That event confirms organised use of the all-weather site, but it does not prove that every DDSL match is on that surface. Grass and all-weather allocations can change, so the fixture notice remains the final travel reference.
